I thing 40% of users choose 000WebHost as a “Trial Host” before starting their web site, blog, forum or any other Web project. Many of them, like even me, will certainly get attracted by their affiliates system that is offering up to 5 $ per referral ! Now things start to be mysterious ! 5 $ for a free account ? How can you gain from it ? Do you have a “Chris Angel” that transform free to millions ?
No body, ABSOLUTELY No body, ever got paid from their affiliate system, not me, neither my friends … I searched on the Internet about “000WebHost” scams and guess what ? 128 000 result for that keyword .. You will certainly ask your self what is the goal of it if no payout is done .. 000WebHost is a little son of hosting24, 000webhost was essentially made to create backlinks (as you can see on every page of 000webhost website) and good SEO for their website, then, when it become a well known web host, they used 000webhost to offer a Paid version of their service (which is the same offer at hosting24). Another thing to mention before continue, they don’t offer Cpanel 11 for free accounts because it’s paid, but because all their accounts are shared between ONE ACCOUNT ! How I know this ? Because I was a host before 
000WebHost domain name is just an account at Hosting24 that have unlimited addon domains and parked domains and Ftp accounts .. Things that are always unlimited in dedicated and virtual servers. A well known free php scripts that are used by poor web hosts just give hosts the opportunity to give to an user some space, bandwidth, FTP, subdomains, parked domains, addon domains and MySQL databases, just what 000webhost offer in the free version WITHOUT Cpanel

Anyway, let’s pass that thing and go to the 30 to 60 days verification. Once you reach the limit of clients before payout, they will send you a mail or notification about a change on Rules :
“Announcement: we have started to use 60 days signup verification procedure (we used 30 days signup verification system before). That is because we received lots of fraudulent signups especially from Vietnam and China and we need more time to check everything. So if you have referred user today, it will be credited in 2 months. We need these 2 months to protect us from fraudulent signups. We are sorry if we made any inconveniences for you and let us to know if you have any questions”
The funniest thing here is that some one, using the username suncoastfashion, at Digg.com blog just said: “FUNNY though, because I ONLY accept US traffic through google adwords and facebook ads, so there is NO POSSIBLE WAY that you were getting ANY Chinese and/or Vietnamese traffic to my referral link.“, and this will certainly make thinks clearer for you.
Until now, we know that they Never payout, Sharing one cpanel account, oversell, fake announcements .. What more ? Let me finish then with the referral system and how no body got paid .. Once you will start asking question, they will just terminate your account ! Hundreds of persons passed a lot of time driving traffic to them in hope of some dollars in end of that month ? And then ? Nothing, even their website will be gone ! Yes ! Many of my friends found their web sites gone with no backup once they will ask for a payout or anything related to it .. Their Affiliates system is just a way to drive more traffic to hosting24, which is the head of those scams, 000WebHost is just a name, hosting24, the whole game.
Tahir Jamil, another customer, said on a Reviews directory : “Here I want to provide very serious review about 000webhost.com. My review is endorsed by hundreds of customers. 000webhost.com provides very unreliable free hosting. One you get their free hosting 000webhost.com will try their best to make you paid customer. 000webhost.com often let customers purchase domain by these tactics. By the pretext of single complain 000webhost.com will remove your websites. It is the time when there are hundreds of jealous competitors but 000webhost.com does not care about free customers.
000webhost.com told me that they will not remove any of my website if I become their paid customer. So, 000webhost.com free hosting is just a trap to make paid customers. 000webhost.com deleted my account without warning and hijacked my high traffic websites by giving their full page advertisement in place of my removed websites which are provided below.

And the last quote on this “little” review, from qnetwork, a drupal user : “After several months of having received poor hosted websites. (poor speed and a lot of server down-time) I started their affiliate program. 5 dollars for every signup you bring in.
Their webhosting is free, yes, but their affiliate program is a SCAM.
And thus in short, 000webhost.com is A SCAM. They do not reply to support requests and simply suspend your affiliate account when you have 305 dollars to be paid out. Payments were postponed 3 times. Each time they had some obscure reason why payments were postponed. And at the end, your account will be gone. No way to claim anything, it will simply be suspended.
Don’t fall for the 000webhost.com scam. They are scammers and don’t pay out! They simply remove your affiliate account and you have no means of contacting them.“
Now, I will be glad to collect here the biggest number of scammed persons as I’m collecting a claim the Internet FBI so that it get shut down before scamming more poor persons .. Such things make many of us feel so bad, so weak .. Let’s stop it !

No, it’s not a scam. You have to have put some money out to be scammed and since 000webhost AND it’s affiliate program are free, you’ve simply done free advertising…
They are pretty much the best free web hosting company out there. Your KVCHosting site charges 4.99 for a free hosting plan? How is that free? You want to talk about a scam… It’s false advertising.

This makes you’re webhost a fraud and like how you claimed to have them reported to the FBI, Hosting24/000Webhost is not a United States based company and there for not under the legal jurisdiction of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Last time I checked… Lithuania was not in the United States.
KVCHosting is just a few hours away from me… I think a claim of fraudulent advertising should be filled, no?
Also, all free hosting companies oversell, they have the right, you’re not paying, stop complaining.

Great comment dear sirmoo, But, as it’s clear on kvchosting website, Free webhosting have a one time setup fee CLEAR from their page where showing every little detail about their offers, but do they say anything false ? Free Hosting with NO recurrent payment and a one-time setup fee ! But, did they say they pay affiliates and didn’t ? No ! 000WenHost make you work HARD to put links about it everywhere, and then, NEVER pay ! It’s like hiring a person, promise a price and never pay it ! Isn’t this a scam ?

Prepare yourself to squander many time and energy. The servers and e-mail tend to be each a joke. The website administration is a joke, and it’s most likely you will notice long mail black outs because that there web hosting policies are housed on weakly collateralled shared servers. Keep away from AT ALL COSTS!it’s absolutely no brainer but their certain extremely affordable web hosting.

You don’t have to necessarily have paid out in order for it to be a scam. If what was promised was not delivered – well, that is a scam – including the affiliate payouts (or lack thereof).@Chaibi Mohamed Alaa. If the setup 000webhost did is as you say, and that is not the reasonable, expected way *any* web hosting company would do it, then that adds even more to the stench of scam.However, as we all know, ”you get what you pay for” and “nothing is really free.”

Sam Congdon is an offshore promoter who has ruined many people’s lives by selling them offshore packages and then turning them over to the FBI and IRS. This guy runs two companies by the name of Rockford Global Solutions and Equity Development Group. His clients have lost millions at Bank Crozier in St. Lucia and Grenada (google failures and how FBI seized banks) as he was in on a sting operation with the FBI. He has also testified for the Senate Finance Committee on his operations and given up his U.S. based account holder list to all legal authorities including the IRS. You should not do business with him or any of his companies unless you want to come under U.S. scrutiny. Your life will be turned upside down if you try to get offshore acounts from him – Don’t Do It!
