How to use it ? You can for example add a screenshot of the person posting a review on your reviews blog, or to display a screenshot of the URL link your member has submitted on your web directory or on your forum ..
To show the screenshot of a given link, we have to get it for the database, then display its screenshot. Let’s suppose that the link is saved in a variable like “user_link”. First of all, create the SQL query that extract that link from the database, and, put this where you want to show the thumbnail :
http://images.websnapr.com/?url=<?php SQL_Query ?>&size=S
If the query returned “http://www.coffeecupbreak.com” then it will show this :
Note that the syntax written above have to be entered in IMG SRC tag, as the query above is the exact screenshot location after being generated from websnapr service.
Now, you can use that little syntax wherever you want, even in a forum where you want to show your website screenshot on your signature
